Founded in 2003 The Mill was created as a store that could be visited over and over and over again and a surprise would always greet you.
Products are sourced from all over the world and are set in a building built at the turn of the last century and the window displays reflect the ever changing seasons.
This setting befits the goods that sit side by side from classic and contemporary products which are displayed in such a way that makes them feel unique and that you the customer will take away a treasure when you make a purchase.
When you have made your decision about that antique hand painted piece of furniture you just might want to dress it with other beautiful products such as Japanese pottery or a beautiful vase from Holland.
If you purchase a gift we will automatically wrap this for you in our own distinct way which brings our customers back over and over again.
Parents are able to visit a shop where their children are welcomed and pushchairs are no problem making it a joy for mums to pop in and pick up that birthday gift that they know their friends will love and not see in larger more impersonal stores.
Our aim is to attract our customers back repeatedly because they trust our judgement in terms of our products chosen for their quality and if on the rare occasion they need to be exchanged there is no fuss.
Those returning customers are given 10% of their purchases over £20 through our Mill Loyalty Card scheme which is our way of giving something back directly to our customers.
The shop people say is a joy to visit as it is peaceful and full of products such as Rose Atelier a soap maker from the USA,DWCD a UK maker of gorgeous doorstops ,letter pressed stationery and cards wonderful scented candles from Geodesis toiletries of the highest quality from France , children’s gifts from Angels With Dirty Faces etc.
When unable to get to The Store customers can visit our shop where we are able to serve them in an alternative way. |
